Start here, my recommended picks
1) The Wookey shop, for amazing Somerset Craft Beer
Discover the range of award-winning Wookey Brewing Co craft beers and Somerset cider. The online shop offers IPAs, English ales, and unique merchandise. All brewed, made, canned, bottled and packed in Somerset. Enjoy free UK delivery on most orders.
2) Discover Somerset’s Finest with the Somerset Craft Discovery Box
The Somerset Craft Discovery Box is a cracking way to explore the region’s beer scene in one hit. This curated mixed case features six cans from three standout Somerset breweries, including Wookey Brewing Co., Pinkers Craft Brewery, and Frome Brewing Company, showcasing a rotating mix of IPAs, pale ales, and seasonal specials. To sweeten the deal, it also includes a luxury tin of Mr Filberts It’s Snack Time! nut selection, making it perfect for gifting or a proper night in. Beers may vary depending on availability, but you’ll always get a balanced, high-quality selection of their most popular releases, delivered straight to your door.
3) Trio of Wookey Brewing's Signature Beers
Dive into a handpicked Craft Beer Trio from Wookey Brewing Co., featuring four cans each of Witch Way Home, Luna, and Serpent of the Axe. From the juicy, award-winning punch of Witch Way Home, to the crisp, gluten-free freshness of Luna, and the light, citrus-tropical hit of Serpent of the Axe, this bundle covers all bases. Perfect for parties, Halloween get-togethers, or just stocking the fridge with proper Somerset beer. Raise a glass and let Wookey do the rest.
Discover proper Somerset cider with Jack’s Original from Wookey Brewing Co.. This medium-dry cider comes in at four point five percent and is made from one hundred percent pressed Somerset apples, wild-fermented using traditional methods passed down through generations of the Cleaves family in Pilton. Crisp, clean, and authentically apple-led, it’s free from artificial flavours or concentrates and finishes dry and refreshing. Ideal for sharing with friends, pairing with local cheese, or simply enjoying a true taste of Somerset craftsmanship.
5) Jack’s Zero - Alcohol Free Cider Done Properly
Jack’s Zero proves that alcohol free doesn’t have to mean flavour free. Crafted using the same Somerset apple know-how as Jack’s Original, this alcohol free cider delivers a crisp, refreshing apple hit without the alcohol.
It’s light, clean, and genuinely satisfying, making it a solid option whether you’re cutting back, driving, training, or just fancy a proper cider without the buzz. No gimmicks, no weird aftertaste, just straightforward, well-made Somerset cider at zero percent.
If you’ve ever been disappointed by alcohol free cider before, Jack’s Zero is well worth a second look.
Why Wookey’s logo is actually really clever

Their “W” isn’t just a random letter. It’s made from two Vs, inspired by old protective marks found in historic buildings and places, including local sites around the Wookey area.
The double V symbol is often linked to protective “witch marks” and historic Marian marks, basically old-school ways people tried to keep bad stuff out. Wookey turned that into their own “W” and built the whole identity around local folklore, caves, and “stay supernatural” vibes.
It’s clean, it’s memorable, and it’s got an actual story behind it!
What Being a Wookey Brewing Co Brand Ambassador Means
Being a Wookey Brewing Co brand ambassador means more than just drinking the beers on camera. It’s about working directly with the brewery to tell the full story behind the brand, the people, and the ideas that shape every beer and cider they produce.
Over the coming months, I’ll be featuring Wookey Brewing Co across the channel and the blog, covering everything from individual beer reviews and cider tastings to deeper dives into the branding, symbolism, and folklore that runs through the range. That includes the meaning behind the iconic double-V logo, the cave symbols used across the cans, and how each beer connects back to Somerset’s pubs and local history.
You’ll also see regular Wookey content appearing across social media, with posts, clips, and updates shared and tagged on both sides. If you want to follow along directly, you can find Wookey Brewing Co on Instagram and Facebook, where they share new releases, offers, and behind-the-scenes updates from the brewery.
It also means giving viewers and readers a direct way to support the brewery. I’ll be linking to Wookey beers, ciders, and mixed cases throughout the content, using an exclusive discount code where available, so if something catches your eye, you can try it for yourself straight away. By the way, that code is my usual one - THEHOPPERREVIEWS, and Wookey Brewing Co have kindly agreed to give you Hopperettes a 15% discount.
This isn’t about scripted praise or glossy marketing. The content will stay honest, informative, and accessible, focusing on the beer, the story, and why Wookey Brewing Co is worth paying attention to.
Wookey Wednesday is coming...
I’m also starting a feature slot called Wookey Wednesday.
It’s not going to be forced weekly content. It’ll drop when there’s something worth featuring, like a beer, a cider, a mixed box, or something seasonal they want to push.
But when you see Wookey Wednesday, you’ll know exactly what it is.
