Morrisons adds Wonderwall lager to nationwide exclusive stock
Morrisons is stocking Wonderwall lager (4% ABV) exclusively in its supermarkets nationwide from this week. The listing marks the beer’s biggest listing yet, brewed for Sunlit Minds by Freedom Brewery. Described as crisp, clean and sessionable, it’s a light straw colour and comes in a red-and-white carton adorned with a paisley motif. Sunlit Minds founder Jonny Kirkham noted the Wonderwall name carries different meanings and is tied to British film, music and football culture, including the 1968 film whose soundtrack was by George Harrison. He said the name was trademarked for a beer range as part of a planned series inspired by cult films. The listing coincides with the arrival of Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger on Disney+.
