Final four pubs named for CAMRA National Pub of the Year 2026
Four pubs from Merseyside, North Yorkshire, Tamworth and London have reached CAMRA’s National Pub of the Year 2026 final four. The Turks Head in St Helens, Countryman’s Inn at Hunton, the Cockpit in Chislehurst, and the Tamworth Tap in Tamworth are the contenders. The Turks Head is a former regional winner, while the Tamworth Tap is chasing a record-breaking fourth title. Countryman’s Inn and Cockpit are first-time regional winners; Cockpit opened during the Covid-19 pandemic. CAMRA Pub of the Year coordinator Andrea Briers says she’s proud of the four finalists, noting they’ve thrived despite well-documented challenges for pubs and brewers. She adds that all four are worth a visit for either a top-quality pint or a strong sense of community. Source: Beer Today https://beertoday.co.uk/2026/10/14/camra-pub-year-finalists-1026/
